I have a feeling they will, but I think eventually we'll just go to straight adventure/monster stuff.

With the consequences being realistic, rather than OMG PSY YENSE HAS TO SAY ITS REALISTIC.

And then eventually we just get fun stuff like a film where Gigan is sent in from another dimension and attacks the Pan Pacific Defense Corps and Godzilla steps in or something. 8)

Honestly, do sequels do get made, I would like then to continue with the serious tone while delving into some of the more outlandish things. You know, like a three headed golden dragon, or a robot Godzilla....
