Wow. Just watched it for the first time on a 22" monitor (after viewing it earlier on my phone...) Wow.. Wow.. Wow...

I did play it earth shattering loud this morning. Got jumps out of 4 lady teachers doing their morning walk. Quickly followed by WTF looks.
Didn't think to video them.

Trailer is suberb. Legendary/WB haven't made a misstep yet.

Oh... My... GOD... Zilla!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I enjoyed the first trailer(probably because I just wanted a trailer), but this is AMAZING!!! The dark tone they have, the special effects(which probably aren't even completely done yet), EVERYTHING!!!! This looks AMAZING!

I love it even more that they connect it to 1954 and switch it up a little, with Ken Watanabe's "In 1954, we awoke something..." and then with the "The Nuclear tests... They weren't tests. They were trying to kill it." YES! YES! YES!!!!! At least we know that Godzilla won't die by the hands of a few pilots. I am SO excited for this. And how about that monster? WOW!

Now, with all that said. Anyone else think that Godzilla seems WAY bigger than 350 feet . But then again, with CG you can make things look much more massive and proportional to things than you can with a suit. I can't wait. I've wanted to see a big Godzilla movie in theaters since I was a little kid, now I'll get the chance(excluding G2K).

Long time member! Just been lurking and following for awhile but haven't commented in quite a bit. But I just had to start posting again! This trailer blew me away and I am confident that they nailed it. People that I thought would never be interested in this sort of movie totally are. Waiting 3 months is going to be tough

I know there are some people who arent too big on the mouth because it has that tyrannosaurus look to it, but honestly, so what if it resembles a t-rex? OMG, Godzilla bears some resemblance to a dinosaur! Is that so shocking to people?

I'm falling more and more in love with this design the more I see it. I like how different but familiar it is. I dont want this to be a cgi biogoji; thats lazy and boring. This Godzilla is it's own thing.

Food for thought - we still haven't seen the full design. Some of the shots could still be unfinished, including the shot we see of Goji. Plus, he's obscured by rain. You can't see all the details.

All this talk of bio goji is just trolling. You had some seriously out of whack expectations if you thought LP would use a previous toho design. I'm happy with what we got.
