Back to trailer talk. Guardians of the Galaxy is supposed to premier with their trailer tomorrow during Jimmy Kimmel Live. Even I am interested in this whacky movie and it is probably a good thing Godzilla gets to be the closer after that trailer comes out.

How do they even fit Godzilla into a trailer. Like, wouldn't that be way too large to have on a set? Wouldn't the other actors get jealous?

If the description is true, I find it interesting that there's no mention of any other monsters. I would have thought they'd want to show that this isn't just a one monster show this time.

If the description is true, the claim that "they are still barely showing any footage of him even that this is the main trailer it feels like a teaser," is as disappointing as it is unsurprising.

There's a difference between showing the entire movie in the trailer and at least giving us something to chew on, a distinction that a lot of people seem to be ignoring.

Har-dee-har. Well, if we see nothing but a 2-second shot of Godzilla's face in the next trailer (again, assuming this description is correct), I'll certainly be disappointed, anyway...

I don't see a reason to be disappointed about the trailer. Marketing is used to generate buzz and if they think hiding Godzilla will bring more money then of course they will do so. I'd love to see a bunch of Goji scenes in the new trailer, but all the bemoaning (not necessarily here but around multiple forums and facebook) is pretty short sighted and childish at times. LP will do what they think is best for their multi-million dollar investment. And why wouldn't they??

They don't have to show us anything. Is another trailer without seeing much of Godzilla going to make you not see the movie? No? Well then stop complaining so much. We've all heard enough of it. This goes out to EVERYBODY who I keep seeing online whining. There are only 3 months left. Chill out.

Seeing Godzilla for the first time on opening night is going to be an amazing and memorable experience.

Well, whatever. If they think that playing "hide the monster" is the ideal marketing strategy, I'm in no position to question them. Just hope that they're right.
