I really wouldn't expect the American fans to get any substantial inputs. Maybe an internet exclusive effects pack..but nothing beyond that.

i've heard that a number of times from fans.. but i have a really hard time believing it.

Someone was talking about how these were selling poorly in Japan and that they saw a whole pallet of these marked down for sale in one store, and i can't imagine that there is an entire pallet in my entire state, since they only show up in small specialty shops. I know they arent selling great in Japan, but i can't imagine that more quantity is sold in the US than Japan.

They sell better in the states simply because Japan does not give a flying f*** about Godzilla. That simple. They keep making them, and it doesn't look like they are stopping any time soon either.

I think US input on stuff like the Monsterarts, the Zyuranger figuarts (released as MMPR), Dragon Ball Z SHFiguarts, does have some amount of influence.

I just don't think that poll on TK is indicative of anything.

It's a fan poll by someone from Toho Kingdom who works with Bluefin.

The poll was created, brought to Tamashii Nations and Bluefin for approval, adjustments were made at their request. Then posted.

Every meeting I've had with them we discuss the current poll results.

It no way of guaranteeing which monster is getting made first, or made at all. It's to re-gauge what fan demand is looking for.

Well, it "APPEARS" that a MA version of the new Godzilla is coming "this summer". Here are two links from the Toy Fair going on. Nothing for a figure picture, but there is this display card that is attached to the new movie poster. All the other figures have their own cards that are represented at the show. So make of it what you will.

Here is the pic of the display card I am talking about: http://news.toyark.com/wp-content/uploa ... la-001.jpg

And this is the source page: http://news.toyark.com/2014/02/16/toy-f ... lla-115483
I can hear really well and I am STRONGER than ever!

due to being listed as Currently unavailable. Probably because it's expected to come in stock this month. Some MonsterArts have done that before, shortly before release. Shame about the timing though because it was just before I was preparing to place my preorder! Had plenty of gift card money, so waiting wouldn't have mattered much.

i've had a couple SHMA like that.. i really don't like the ball joints which I have complained about before. My Biollante pops the neck ball easily. My G64 loses a hand constantly. Tails popping their socket on G94.. etc. I pretty much get these things into one pose and then leave them alone, so i can't imagine actually playing with them. I still love 95% of the sculpts, but the articulation sometimes frustrates me.

::edit:: this was in reply to a message that got deleted(?)

Actually the perfect remedy for this is to use Floor Finishing Polish that has Future product in it. I used this on all kinds oh loose joints and now they don't fall off anymore!

I think this works better than nail polish and last longer.

They probably recently started to fix that problem. They've had really bad QC issues in the past in their God Of War, Robocop and Saw releases.

Ball joints have their flaws and strength and have their own page on the Transformers Wiki that addresses these issues.

I've got quite a few MA with quality control issues.

Anyway, I found some new uses for my MonsterArts effects stuff:

I have that Figma Samus! She's AMAZING! Can't wait for them to release a Zero Suit version! M.O.G.U.E.R.A.'s missiles and MechaGodzilla's Mega Buster look awesome with her! Looks like she has the Hyper Beam from Super Metroid! :D
