As much as I'd love to see it happen again, I'm not confident it would be worth our years of hope. It would never live up to it, the original KKvG is so campy and silly, it obviously wouldn't be anything like that, but it would almost be impossible to make in a dark and serious tone as well.... I just have visions of all the Alien vs Predator films or Freddy vs Jason and seeing a new King Kong vs Godzilla ending up looking like one of those...

Always, always ALWAYS up the size to match for scale.

If Godzilla is 100ish Meters in height, an 80/90 Meter Kong would make sense.

Really, I don't think any larger kaiju would be changed all too much. Gigan can still end up being 120 meters like he was in Final Wars. Ghidorah could still stay at 150ish meters.
Really something like Biollante or Hedorah would probably end up being 180-200 meters and no one will complain about it being too huge.

I'd love to see a future incarnation of Godzilla feature a return to the less flamethrower and more blowtorch atomic breath.

After giving this alot of thought, if or when Toho decides to start the Godzilla series again, I kinda wouldn't mind seeing them start right from where they left off in Tokyo: SOS experimenting with those kaiju's DNA and incorporating some of that concept art that's posted in the Tokyo: SOS thread.

Do any of you guys really think they'd feature the new L.P. Godzilla against a revamped King Kong? Really?

I'm seriously doubting any of the Toho stable of kaiju will be used, at least not without major revamping. But Kong? Not in a zillion years.
