For example, since this movie is going to be all super serious (much to delicious tears of some part of the fandom), which film would you like it to evoke the most?

I know Edwards has said that the 54 film is his big inspiration, but everything I see, and read (especially Godzilla's appearance and portrayal) reminds me of 84.

The "leaked mobile game" picture and the "leaked trailer video" were done by the same person? Or two separate things that just coincidentally hit around the same time?

Also, I really don't know where the leaked "mobile game" picture became associated with a mobile game, but hasn't a mobile game been confirmed (via the LinkedIn account resume)?

Also, did people actually think those two things (pic and vid) were actually leaked from a game/trailer?

Also, are people actually upset that it's just some fan's work?

Also, seriously, does anybody care THAT much? We're getting to the point on this thing where crappy fan-cam leaks don't even register on my radar anymore. The real marketing machine has begun churning (albeit a small touch on the slow side), and will probably kick off pretty big in the coming weeks. Who the hell got excited about 2.3 seconds of murky Godzilla lumbering through a bit of smoke?

From what I have seen is that the leaked 3 second clip is based off that leaked mobile game pic.

The hilarious part is the amount of denial going on in that part of the fandom. This clip was done intentionally to see if G-M.com was an untrustworthy source and it went off without a hitch.

Now it's a badge of honor cause "we got 10K hits out of it" which imo shows what their bottom line is.

I bought him reddit gold because of that. I was absolutely losing my "OH GODZILLA! WHAT TERRIBLE LANGUAGE!" on the subreddit for people downvoting me, and him continually coming back with justifications for why it might be real.
