You can clearly see a light from the skyscraper behind Godzilla shining through his spines. The fact that you can't tell if Godzilla is standing in front of, or behind the buildings makes it that much more obvious that it looks like a projected image composite.

its too blurry to even know where things are anyway, we could just be seeing our own skewed image, anyway anyday now id rather have a look at godzillas enemy, even the toy fair will do

Hmm... Although you would think they'd ask them to remove the photo as well. But I suppose the image of the SDCC has been floating around since summer of 2012.

The thing is the guy who heads the site is now saying those shots were swapped in favor of another for the next trailer, so apparently we won't be seeing that in the next trailer...

This is all as fishy as hell.

The best part of this whole thing is going to be their excuse when neither scene is in the next trailer or it doesn't actually get released on this street date. It sounds like they are already planning for that contingency.

What I would like to know is, if the new trailer doesn't make landfall next week, then what exactly is the guy that claimed that it would be released on the 12th going to say? What kind of excuse is there? "Oh sorry, guess my source is unreliable. Sorry for hyping up everyone on this site for over a week and making them get their hopes up!"
