If I start seeing DoFP trailers on TV regularly, and am still not seeing Godzilla trailers, (Super Bowl does not count, it's a one-off type of thing) THEN I'll start worrying about marketing.
I also hope whoever is doing the marketing is smart enough to do some product tie-ins. I think that was one of the reasons why the marketing for PacRim seemed so lacking compared to like Iron Man 3 or Man of Steel or something. Godzilla being paired with Subway or some other fast food thing or a car company or some sort of recognizable brand will help any marketing push.
