I've been spending a lot to time enjoying my 2002 SD set. Ebirah's especially growing on me. :D Now I need to find that blasted 2001 set... any places you guys know that might have them?

I just picked up the Sega Hyper Gyaos and finally got the Bandai Titanosaurus. Also, just like everyone else, I've got the Bandai Tokyo SOS figures on preorder.

Just got back from Zap comics in Freehold Mall. I scored the gyaos '95 from X-Plus/ Rocket Pro. The figure looks to be 11 inches high with a wingspan of opprox. 16 inches! Nicely bagged[ like the Banpresto's] and all for less than $18! Another happy purchase!

Once again my man Glow-nut is on point,as usual.I am glad this has sparked some mild debate amongst us collectors, its great to hear everyones opinions on "Our Thing". As far as being a completeist,I subscribe to #4.- Every different Bandai figure officially released, plus all tag/box variants. Ironically, our buddy Brandon Shields got me on this kick, after a long "what is a completist" talks. Those Damn Shields kids! Hey Jean I do remember the Clear Meltdown on Yahoo a while ago,I made a print out of it,in case I never see it again. Even I think its end price was ridiculous, around the 3500.00 mark :0! Jeezuz!!

...and that, ladies and gentlemen, is why I'm afraid to start collecting the large Bandai figures! :P

I'm extremely happy, as I now have all three of the SD sets (by this, I mean the series started by Bandai with Soukougecki). There's still the Super Collection 1 and 2, along with the blasted lottery figures from Soukou and Shoshingecki and the Atari figures, but those are goals for later. :)

This month was the first time in around 10 years that I've picked up any godzilla toys...which pretty much makes them the first godzilla toys I've purchased myself! I've got some empty shelf space here at school, and figured I might as well start a little collection. For my little sister, I grabbed a Bandai Godzilla 54 and a Mothra from K-B Toys...in addition to a 54 for myself. Then a Bandai Godzilla 2004 9", Mechagodzilla 2004 9", Godzilla 2002 9" and Godzilla 74 6" from extreme collectables and Bandai 2000 HyperGodzilla set of around 7 4" figures from ebay. Theyre going to look pretty nice next to my one and only other Godzilla...an Imperial from 85 that I got when I was about 7.
