Holy god. That episode. In just 12 episodes this show has blown the original series out of the water. Amon's end was amazing. So great. I also love that the hero had a legitimate loss. Even if they deus ex machina it back and then give Korra the ability to restore it. It's a minor complaint. Season 2 is going to be epic.

What did everyone think of Season 2? I finally finished it recently.

I actually don't think The Legend of Korra is as good as the original series - the writing tends to seem a little rushed, and the characters either develop too easily or not at all - but I'm still enjoying the series a lot.

...And that finale - GIANT MONSTER/HERO FIGHT!! :D
