This is a funny sentiment given how much people hated the Millennium series for doing that after failing with 2 original monsters.

The flippant attitude towards the American version kinda irks me. How does he know Godzilla will be portrayed as something that can be overcome in the new film? Also, the list of Godzilla movies made IN JAPAN where military or scientific technology rather than another monster is what brings Godzilla to a halt is rather extensive:

GMK


And even in KKvsG, the Japanese could have kept Godzilla at bay for eternity with electricity...to insinuate that mankind being able to overcome Godzilla (even if it's just keeping him at bay or THINKING he's dead when he's actually alive) makes it not Godzilla is to imply that several Japanese incarnations are not Godzilla.

Yeah, he seems to just blindly assume that this will treat the monster the same way the Emmerich/Devlin film did, when all available evidence suggests the opposite.

I got an idea for a series called Godzilla: Brutal Revenge.

It's about how Godzilla returns and not only does he have some new powers,hes grown big enough to bite a modern day aircraft carrier in half. So big he's practically as tall as the new world trade center. This is because the humans dumping waste in to the ocean has mutated him further so then he decides humans don't deserve to live on Earth anymore and to destroy every last one of them.

The series tells the story from the perspective of two sides. A human teen whose trying to stay out of the path of destruction but instead always ends up in the mist of the attacks.

I got an idea called Godzilla generations when people accidently release 1954 godzilla, gmk godzilla and godzilla 2014 thru an inter dimensional portal. They then must solve a theory using quantum nuclear atomization physics or qnap as i call it then they must find a way to draw them all back to the portal. Throught the series the army comes up with a list of ways to stop each Godzilla based on the movies but there plans dont work so thats why they just decide to make the portal.

I'm quite sure that as soon as this series loses enough steam to continue with theatrical releases, Toho will pick the mantle right back up and squeeze every last drop out of it.
