Not trying to argue, Jelly, just voicing a differing opinion... I've been an off-and-on wrestling fan for like 30 years and I'm very old-school, but I believe size SHOULD still matter, at least most of the time. I cringe whenever they have someone like Rey Mysterio win a 20 minute match over a Kane or Big Show (even though Big Show is to me the most boring giant ever... I liked him many years ago in WCW as The Giant but man I don't get into him as he is now). I think the big size matchups work best when you get either:

1. A really quick surprise win by the little guy... small package out of nowhere or some such.
2. Tag team or battle royal matchups.
3. The OCCASIONAL big PPV upset. Like, keep it rare.

Regardless of skill level or "what might happen in real life" I don't like when the little guys match up with someone who is considered a monster and they actually seem to hold their own. I just don't care for it.

I liked the old days of WCW when they had the cruiserweight division, and they combined the luchadores and the Japanese high flyers and whatever other smaller domestic guys that could hang with them. I think it really shone. I miss that. I am just not a fan of C.M. Punk even though his mic work is good... I think he would have been great as a cruiserweight but I am shocked that he's in the position he's in as one of the dominant guys in the company. I just don't see it. I can't see him as a legitimate threat to the "classic, monster" Undertaker. In the real world against older, hurting Undertaker then sure. But I still like to think of 'Taker as a monster, especially at WrestleMania.

I honestly don't have an opinion of who I'd like to see him match up with at WrestleMania... I barely watch TV anymore and haven't been following WWE for a while. Even though it would probably be a pretty sloppy match I'd still like to see Sting show up this time just because. Heck, if they ever decide that it's really gonna be Taker's last show maybe they could get Foley to dust off the boots for one more match. I know he's hurting bad too but I bet they could carry an interesting match one more time...

I get ALL of that...but the size different between Rey Mysterio (5'6" 175lb) and Big Show (7'0" 425 lb) (or Kane [7'0" 323 lb] or even Undertaker [6'10" 299 lb] ) is WAY more than that between any of those guys and Daniel Bryan (5'10" 210 lbs)

Undertaker isn't so huge as to make the matchup seem ridiculous. Hell, next to Rey Mystero, Daniel Bryan seems almost big. Also, compare Byran's size to that of CM Punk (6'2" 218 lbs), and it's not THAT big a difference, especially on the weight end. Bryan might not be tall, but he's not a little guy. CM Punk put on a great match with Undertaker last year...one of the better matches in the storied streak, to be honest, and I see no reason why Bryan couldn't also.

Oh yeah I wasn't meaning to knock Daniel Bryan, I was just commenting on the "size doesn't matter in wrestling" part. Surprisingly enough I never got around to watching last year's WrestleMania, though I believe I got the Blu-ray for Christmas.

And actually I have to say, it's probably good to match Undertaker up with a somewhat smaller guy at this point in his career, since he is hurting so bad. Someone he can lift easier and throw around but who wouldn't go as stiff on him or subject him to a lot of lifts and throws. It's honestly a pretty safe approach at this stage of the game and I'm ok with that. Though I would still love to see Sting show up at a WrestleMania before he turns 70...

^Ehhh. I guess so. I'm just not that big of a fan when guys like that take up unnecessary screen time. I get what you're saying though. So long as the above mentioned don't get put into any matches. (minus Stone Cold)

I don't think Bryan has been horribly booked throughout by ANY means whatsoever.

Hell just this week, he headlined MNR. The feud with the Wyatts was more about putting the Wyatts over than burying Bryan. I'm not sure it's working, but that I think has more to do with Bray Wyatt's meandering, meanless promos that for some reason the IWC gobbles up and loves, but I just find silly and nonsensical.

Yeah. And curiously, Magnus accepted Sting's challenge for a title shot. If Sting loses the stipulation is that he does not resign with TNA.

Hmm... Curious no?

Now or never, Steve.

(Yes I am an old WCW fanboy, Sting, Booker T, Ric Flair, Jericho and Ultimo Dragon were my favorite guys to come from there).

I know Sting is old but I would really love to see him in the WWE in some capacity, if even just for a short while. I'm hoping he goes for it.

And I personally think Hogan DOES have a spot in the WWE if he just swallows his pride and doesn't try to be any sort of management-role idea-maker, nor demand to be in the spotlight all the time. I miss the old days with managers like Bobby Heenan. I think he'd be fine in a role like that, a little commentary, the mouthpiece of a well-thought-out faction or something. I *don't* think he should be given the sort of prominence that he probably expects, but I do think there's a place for him.

Kinda disappointed that it seems Batista is returning as a face...hopefully it doesn't last. He was at his best when he was an egomaniacal heel who claimed he was bigger, better, more popular, etc than John Cena.
