I'm bored something happen. I want me some Godzilla feets stompin ariports.

If they do show that foot crashing down at the airport scene, I can totally see that going along with the "stahp" internet meme.

A ways back here, there was some discussion of whether Bryan Cranston had legitimate star power...

he won a few Golden Globes yesterday (or so I'm given to understand, I didn't watch at all). I think that pushes him back into the public eye for a bit. I think he's a pretty darn big star.

EDIT:
I also have thoughts on the ever-present release day discussion:
I wish it was actually a week earlier. Spider-man 2 looks like a flop in the making. I think Godzilla would do better with two weeks on its own until X-Men and only one week removed from Spider-man. Just a thought. I personally doubt shifting the release date a week would be that big a deal to accomplish, too.

Just saw on Facebook that Legendary will be sending a LP Godzilla hat to Kenji Sahara when he comes to Monsterpalooza. Very cool!

Well, like I said, I think ASM2 is gonna fall off HUGE from week 1 to 2 once people actually see this thing and the bad word of mouth kills it.

I don't see Neighbors or Chef, or Bell pulling much box office weight...so what you're saying here is that you're pretty nervous about Legends of Oz pulling away Godzilla's numbers?

No really. I don't pay attention enough to Spiderman. Are there production problems? Or is there just too many bad guys for one movie? Mad that the Rhino isn't a biosuit it is a mech? I'm not sure what is bad about it. It looks like any other Spiderman movie to me.

OKidoke. Didn't mean to derail anything Godzilla related. Just curious. Also something tells me that fireman Spiderman is taken out of context. Maybe he borrows a guys helmet before going into a burning building? But ya that looks goofy.

So has anybody visualized what the big money shots in this movie are going to look like? I keep trying to visualize in my head what a scene of Godzilla walking through a building is going to look like. Will we see people falling out of it as it comes toppling down? How much detail will be in this shots? This movie hides in my imagination.

this is the first I heard of Amazing Spider-Man 2's problems. Anyone care to fill me in, in a straight forward manner? It looks like any other Spider-Man movie I've seen.

Or is this just a lot of hoping the movie flops? :?

Is there anyone left on this site who seriously thinks that Godzilla isn't getting enough media coverage/marketing/buzz by this point?

Personally I think they are hitting the right marks especially with the trailer release and subsequent buzz, but I'm still running into people that think it's not enough.
