Oh boy, the time is finally here. First off, I just love his accessories:

And now, the figure that got me into the MonsterArts line is finally mine.

HOLY SMOKES! This guy makes some incredible stop motion animations with SHMA figures and visual effects!!! I can't even imagine how long it takes to put these together.

Apparently his name is Michael Shipman and he does these for TK (but since i don't frequent TK, i wasn't aware of them and figured i should share the awesome

Looking good. Maybe a bit skinny in the waist but the fins look fantastic and not even a gap with weird positions like this one

So do you think after Gigan we'll end up getting a MA of the new Godzilla instead of another classic character?

To be honest, I really hope they either have Anguirus or Showa MechaG planned next. As much as I love the newer movies, they do need to show the Showa era some love. In fact, as much as I want either a 54 or GMK Godzilla, I'd like those two come out first.

Actually, they should have G54 come out in Nov.

Yeah, the articulation series has been pretty cool. I did not realize he came out with Destoroyah until just now, which was nicely done. I believe the guy who does these has said Space Godzilla is going to be this month's one.

After Gigan, the monsterarts I'd like to see most would actually be Gypsy Danger or Knifehead. Well what I really want would be the Sun God, but that seems unlikely atm. Any Showa era releases would probably be what Bandai thinks is bankable and Showa Mechagodzilla pretty much ran away with that as far as Showa characters go.

Speaking of new things, I'm kinda hoping Bandai does Figuarts of the new Robocop (and a Jiban and Janperson to go with it too!) since they seemed interested in considering it.

LegendGoji seems like a sure thing at this point. They pretty much spoiled it last year.

PR Monsterarts are pretty much an eventuality imo. The demand was so damn high on the poll from last year and the Tamashii representatives were all "Don't say Pacific Rim, we already heard you!"

What surprised me, was how surprised the Bandai folks were at the demand for Pacific Rim merch from Bandai.

I've been putting off NECA's Gipsy for quite a while, knowing that Bandai will eventually make one. Robots are pretty much Bandai's bread and butter. Be it Super Robot Chogokin or Monsterarts, it's being released.

Otachi would be the most ideal one to make, I just like Knifehead's design. Actually if Monsterarts makes an Otachi I'd be really interested in how they would do it. And they would likely corner the market in Otachi figures since I don't see anyone else making one.

Swappable arms is probably the way to do it. They do that in the Figuarts line.

Honestly, I don't get the hype around Guiron... I mean Knifehead. I personally think the best one in the movie was the one that ended up being a flying monster.

How realistic is a SHMA picking up PacRim when Neca is already releasing articulated figures in the same scale at a 1/3 the price?

Is there an interview or article with this? I haven't seen any and I thought it was a bit odd
