Here are my feelings from your list:
Godzilla - Godzilla fan, so of course I'm going to see it. I'm hoping that because I'm going in uncertain I will be blown away.
The Giver - Never cared for the book, so I'll probably pass on the movie.
Big Bad Wolves - Have not heard of before, will look it up.
Muppets Most Wanted - I haven't even seen the last Muppets movie. IN fact, to be honest, I am not a big Muppets person. I don't hate them, I've just never really sat down to watch them outside of the the Christmas Carol.
Blood Ties - Has some great casting, but didn't this come out last year?
Open Grave - Wasn't this 2013 too?
Snowpiercer - Post apocalyptic movies just aren't my thing. Again, I don't hate them, they just aren't my cup of tea.
Transcendence - Johnny Depp in a movie that is NOT Disney?!
DEFINITELY!!!!!
Jupiter Ascending - Outside of everyone's ding dong, I'm not sure what is so exciting about this. Is it The Matrix Wachowskis or The Matrix Revolutions Wachowskis?
Captain America: Winter Soldier - Will see it, but I've seen this plot line before.
Guardians of the Galaxy - Know nothing about them outside of Raccoon, but I'm not really all that enthused
Interstellar - Christopher Nolan = MUST SEE!!!
Anyway, Jelly, I guess you are right. I have been harping way too much about the mediocrity of movies right now. My bad, I'll try to tone it down. It's funny, I got flamed on another board when I was into nothing but Bayplosions and CGI, and now, on this board, I'm getting flamed for being sick of it. Just can't win either way.
