Yeah, a lot of people seem to lose it with each new X-Plus reveal, but these just aren't for me.

I dont think its gotten too zany around here unless its for a Showa release... which i will plead guilty to fanboying a bit (unless its a re-release)

Kaijucast posted an amazing interview with X-Plus.. the highlights:
- What RIC in RIC Boy stands for
- details on the DAM Ghidorah (They are working on the sculpt currently in the 25cm scale! the wings will be made like the wings of the 25cm Mothra, so much stronger and not going to droop over time (like Rodan) )
- The process which the figures are made. (and why occasionally figures are delayed)
- Mechanikong license is "difficult"
- They will try for G14 license
- They want to make the Kaiju from Pacific Rim
- The reason for not going suit accurate on the Gigantic line
- Desugoji is the next planned Gigantic figure

I AM a big fan, and the figure really does look awesome, but I'll have to pass for financial reasons.

Looks like a 68 Gamera (with a possible Viras grapple/hug accessory) .. a standing Zigra... and an Ultraman of some variety are all being teased

...as well as a Mochiron!!

That doesn't really look like the '68 Gamera. The shape of the head and the wrinkles...looks more like the '65 version.

i am terrible at telling the Showa Gameras apart, so i just hazarded to guess 68 because that looked like a new arm for Viras... at least with the Ultramen i don't even bother to try figuring out which series they are from, since even when i think i know those they end up being from series i haven't even heard of. They very recently did a 65 and 66 Gamera from the Showa era so if it's not 68 maybe 69?

So I have a question. Does anyone have a picture of all of the different Godzilla's lined up next to each other? Gforever had one that was sort of what I want to see, but you couldn't see every suit in detail, especially as the figures curved. I just want to see the different costumes lined up next to each other, but it is hard to find any sites that have something like that. Not to mention I'm not even sure if XPlus has done every version of Godzilla.

SciFi Japan has posted information and high-res photos from X-Plus for their giant monster figures scheduled for release in late January 2014. This month's lineup focuses on reissues and limited edition items available exclusively from the company's official Shounen Ric website.

So are the Dogora and that way cool looking all silver Ultraman available for wide release....or only convention specials...meaning they'll be priced out of range of most collectors and impossible to get?

Sorry I'm late on responding to this, but here are "answers" not that they are helpful...

No word yet on what Dogora is release-wise.. X-Plus did announce a Wonderfest exclusive that was a reissue of their 30 cm Baragon with added light up gimmick... so i think they would have mentioned Dogora at that point if it were also an exclusive (also i think the last three years their exclusive Wonderfest figures were reissues with a new gimmick)

Silver Ultraman is a "lottery figure" which means he will be hard to get and expensive (if you won a lottery figure, it came out to around $75) more details on that here: http://ric-toy.ne.jp/info20140121.html

This is like the 3rd or 4th release of a 30cm 54 Godzilla? (Color, B&W, US release, and this?)
