I won't mind seeing a Godzilla OVA series instead. Since Toho wants people to pay for Godzilla, a OVA series would work better then a animated TV series. I don't know why Toho is not into Toku TV shows compare to TPC and Toei? Seeing how much money like Toku shows like Kamen Rider and Super Sentai make then I think Godzilla can do fine on TV.

Personally, if Toho isn't interested in putting more time and money and creativity in the films then they have been doing for the last three decades... I really can't be bothered to care.

Now, if Legendary Godzilla is a hit over there it'd be great to see other, non-Godzilla kaiju movies coming out of the country: new Gamera, Daimajin, new monsters, ect.

That being said, I'm all for Japanese professionals coming over to Legendary to work on Godzilla! I think Kaneko and Miike could make a film in Hollywood given Legendary's seemingly comfortable working environment (foreign directors chaffing under studio interference on Hollywood films is the oldest story in the book). Let's get a Shinji Higuchi webseries using old-school FX between movies!

LPG will likely do well in the US and other parts of the world, but could bomb in Japan. Japan does not care for giant monsters in years and modern updates on classic Japanese characters have bombed before. Gamera: The Brave, Space Sheriff Gavan The Movie, Kamen Rider: The First and Kamen Rider: The Next bombed in Japan from what I can remember.

Godzilla: Attack of the Ghidorah's. When an army of Ghidorahs from another planet attack, Godzilla Gigan and Kiryu must work together to stop them.

It could be an animated mini-series.

I'd rather there not be an animated series.. IF one happens, I'd rather it be the drama of the atom bomb horror and have it then lead up to the first appearance of Godzilla.

Not that easy to make a tv show successfully these days. But then again if it's a live action show...about Godzilla. People will watch.

I don't know. Has there ever been a movie about say the Lucky Dragon incident? If no Godzilla, then it would be interesting to see (I feel) a feature on a real life event that helped to give influence to G.

^Does Toho do TV? A TV docudrama about the Lucky Dragon #5 would have been the perfect thing to do this year, since they're not doing anything Godzilla related.
