What I would like to see are some Godzilla brand heroclix coming out of these series. Like an ongoing series of heroclix featuring some of the older monsters too.

Oh, and IDW Tailgate and Prime Tailgate got a lot in common. Like their color! And vehicle modes!

And they're dead... (or dying)

Mostly cause I think the official Tailgate Prime toy is a crumby redeco of a Legion class.

Saw this posted by a FB friend, and it is stated to not be a final prototype for the Gojira 2014 figure. Appears to be a standard vinyl. Any other info you know, do share.

It looks like that Godzilla has an articulated jaw, and the tail having a separate piece further down instead of around the base like typical Godzilla vinyl looks much more like an action figure to me, perhaps the DX version. Whatever it is, far more flattering than the terrible book figure.

Well, given the limited POA and articulated jaw (something vinyls don't have), and no visible action feature, I'd say the odds are good. We'll see.

Now as to where the actual image came from. Where was this figure displayed...?

Usually this the time of year that images and listings for Hallmark's Christmas ornaments start popping up, and while not a toy, Hallmark has the license to do a Godzilla ornament for 2014. Apparently there was an announcement this past summer.
