I feel like people are overreacting. An early script may or may not have been leaked. So what? Some people that care to seek out this information may have plot points spoiled? Godzilla 2014 is going to be out in 5 months regardless of the leak. You'll have the rest of your life ahead with this film 'spoiled' for you after you've seen it even once.

It's not going to have a financial impact on the film.

It's not going to change the course of the film.

This really doesn't matter at all.

I have mixed feelings about spoilers for in-progress projects. If I have serious doubts about things (as I did, for example, with Conan the Barbarian 2011), then generally I'll take a look at everything. I'll admit, though, that sheer curiosity led me to click a couple of spoilers in this thread. It was through luck of the draw that they were things I'd already thought about or imagined beforehand. I won't press my luck further.

With that said, Kailem's concerns are real to me. In addition, I think that we're not just getting a science fiction or Godzilla movie, but a horror one as well to some extent. I enjoy going blind into horror movies and TV shows - otherwise, you know, it ceases to be very scary. So there's my excuse. I'll still poke around this area, but I'm definitely on alert.

It's a risk that you are going to have to take. You're worried about spoilers yet you are posting in a thread specifically about a leaked script. If it that important to have a virgin experience with a new film, take the first step an avoid areas where you might see spoilers.

I wouldn't mind seeing the whole leaked script. This is because it's a Godzilla movie, not something like "The Sixth Sense" or "Pandorum".
