I love how so much of this design really calls back to the original Gojira...and yet people claim they hate it.

Things I like:

The hands look good.
The head has grown on me.
Skin texture is okay but I would have strongly preferred the original texturing over crocodile skin.
The spines look better on the full design than I originally thought they would. They are consistent with the over all design.
Godzilla looks 'thorny' without being covered with quills, which is nice.

Stuff I hate:

Those 'feet.' I'm not really sure how to fix that because Godzilla's feet usually look pretty goofy in motion..I would have preferred something longer since CGI would have covered any feet flopiness.
Prominent scales on the sides of neck which may or may not be gills.

I used to not really like the stumpy feet, but they're growing on me.
All over my body. It's unnerving.

As for the spines, yeah, they should be a TINY bit bigger, but again I'm starting to dig them.

Everything I've seen of the design sits just fine with me. Change isn't a bad thing. It's still very clearly Godzilla.

Not nearly as stumpy as I had feared. They probably look much smaller in this static photo than they will look in motion.
