Also, the gills aren't my thing but they don't affect the overall design so I'm ok with them.
As long as they get the major components right, minor stuff doesn't matter.

I know the gills are kind of silly.... but it would honestly answer the question as to how hes able to sleep in the ocean.... so I'm ok with this. It's a MODERN answer to the generic moviegoers. I say this, but we dont even know if they're actually gills.

^I've always thought of Godzilla as mainly a sea monster who can stay under water indefinitely and only occasionally comes on land, so gills make sense to me.

My previous theory was 'uh... some sort of nuclear something or other allows him to breath under water.'

I can see the gills in the Godzilla image. If they are gills, awesome. But we may never know till the actual movie. Non issue form me.

Anyway, Godzilla's design is looking similar to the Bearzilla/Encounter Godzilla. Which...I wasn't a fan of. I prefer the Brazil expo face design.

But it's a obscured image. Not the best look.

It's actually better quality visually than the leaked second trailer that was posted last month so I didnt mind jumping the gun since that already kind of ruined it a bit for me. But the sound on this isnt so great, guy went a bit overboard so most may as well wait until tomorrow at 1pm.... edit: took too long to hit send, just saw Danny basically said the same thing.
and it seems its unavailable now anyway. Doubt the guy could sell it for the price of 153,820 chicken eggs since it leaks in about 16.5 hours, I wonder if he knew that and almost wonder if this was an intentional leak to build hype and awareness for the leak tomorrow? I kind of feel the last 2 may have been, since whats the odds of just one person getting the footage for the second in terrible quality, and having such perfect footage for the first which is never officially released?

Basically the same footage as the second comic con tease that nearly everyone found wanting and far less effective than the Oppenheimer tease from the year before.

Boring military action, actors looking worried and a goofy Godzilla with gills and a too-short snout.

Totally pumped for this movie......I cannot wait......that fan who took the cam video of the trailer was cracking me up. They should release that as a blooper of some type on the bluray when it hits.

Still not a clear look at the G, but I agree with Jared. This might be the most beautiful Godzilla film thus far. That's something, no matter how the film turns out. The images from this trailer alone are legendary.
