That's a great read!!! The bit about the logic behind Zatoichi's manner of holding his sword impressed the heck out of me!

Just curious, anyone know why the 26th film isn't included? And is it worth picking up??

The 26th film would be a separate license since it was produced 16 years after the original film series and released by Shochiku (who own the Japanese and international rights) rather than Daiei and Toho. And Media Blasters released the movie on DVD so they may still have the North American rights.

This is the greatest home video release of anything ever.

It beats the previous two: Criterion's own releases of Seven Samurai and Gojira!
