That is why I said it would take someone to care enough. I'm sure they could get Universal to lend them the movie (both versions) for a complete box set. Same goes for Sony, MB, etc. Like I said, Universal did the same thing to release their Alfred Hitchcock Masterpiece Collection set as WB owns some of the movies on the set and LGF did it with the Tarantino collection as WB and Universal also own some of those movies.

Shout! did a very poor job syncing the "Sandy Frank" dubs to their Gamera releases. I know those were far from perfect to begin with, but it's like no one really cared if the a/v sync was accurate. If Shout! gets some Godzilla movies and includes alternate dubs, I hope they learn from the mistakes on the Gamera discs.

I like the Sandy Frank dubs because those are what I grew up on; I never did hear the AIP dubs until just recently.

Honestly, the dubs being out of synch are the least of those movies' problems. Everything after Barugon is not even a good movie. They have good moments in them, but they are pretty much the Batman & Robin of Gamera.

I just don't see WB putting these movies out on Bluray. Maybe, and I mean maybe, I can see them doing it if they combine two movies on one disc, but that's a long shot. That said I also don't see S!F putting them on bluray either.
