Since the Showa kaiju and the Heisei kaiju never shared a screen, the only reason I think they chose to shrink the size was to cut costs. I would have preferred they kept the same general size and lost three or four of the articulation points to drop the cost... but i think if i beat that dead horse any more its going to have huge awkward triangular gaps in its side and it will be able to do the splits (even though horses arent physically capable of doing the splits).. poor horse.

50 Actually, but if that were the case he'd be way smaller than what we got.

This video is great. I love these stop motions, but this is the best one yet.

Well I finally broke down and ordered a Godzilla from Mandarake. Hopefully if it goes through, I do not get one with messed up eyes.

At the bottom, there are new pics of SH Monsterarts Mothra. Seems like her abdomen is segmented. Cool beans!

Does that first shot imply another windowless box (a la G'64)?

Of course, the '92 Mothra's wings shouldn't be separated like that...

The average Japanese man is 5'7. Seeing as how I am 5'7 that there is a huge box ._. Nice find!

Probably skipping Biollante atm though. I think it'll be around for a while.

it took me way too long to find this... but here was the similar shot of the KG box

i regret not picking up the X-Plus Biollante before the prices went super wacky on it, so I will be picking this up. It's not 100% perfect and its overpriced, but as far as accurate Biollante figures go, its leagues better than anything else I have.

I'll have to get Biollante sometime in the next year when I actually have a full time job. I just cannot afford her working part time.
