I wonder if this is a viable way to go about it? I sent a request for the 84/85 film to be picked up via the dvd blu ray menu option. Noted that it was the only one yet to be released on dvd in the states, and was the second to last theatrically released film in the 28 film series released here, and it probably stood the test of time better than any since the original. Also that it would be good promotion for the new film. But I wonder if it shouldnt have gone to 'legal' since theyd have to be involved in determining who holds the property rights and picking it up.
Thanks for posting this, I guess anyone else who thinks this strategy is viable can send similar letters to 'legal' or the 'dvd blu ray' option and maybe it will be super effective. Or do letters work better in this day and age?
