Maybe I'm crazy, but I recall reading in one of the Mega-Threads that Godzilla would be brought to life with pure animators and not Mo-Cap.

It kind of makes sense, that while Godzilla stands like a human, he has a tail and a lot of weight which would require a lot of compensation from a Mo-Cap artist (vs. Gollum, King Kong or Ceasar the Chimp). Either way, Mo-Cap is only a tool because animators will still have to go back and fix any issues.

I bring luaghs but back to the topic does it really matter who is Godzilla . I mean with motion capture tech and cgi they can make a blue whale look like an ant! the real question is the style Godzilla will fight in what will that be?

Lol, Im keeping my fingers crossed it will be before the hunger games. But we havent heard anything yet and thats in a week. Still MovieFone's iOS app updated the dates for all the films through May 9th listing everything after as just 2014. So my hope is thats becasue Movie studios typically start their push exactly 25 weeks before release. Obviously not always, but maybe thats why they're so reluctant to release even the first trailer officially. I just want to see the 2nd one in decent quality. If not then maybe before seventh son. 300 seems like too long of a wait and almost a bad idea for a marketing push especially when bornstein already posts on twitter he's seen it, we have toys giving away details of Mutos coming soon, and Chris55 at Tohokingdom already said we'd know what the monster's look like before March. My guess is they're prepping their marketing push now. As for the question. King of the Monsters. Monster of Monsters.

Thanks. Somehow that being said sounds familiar but maybe I forgot it had been confirmed and assumed it would have to be a legendary film. I wonder if it will be the 2012, 2013 or an all new trailer? So Hobbit part ii smaug is dec 13th. I found the tweet from Oleg Gaiko
