There are a few dubbed versions I watch. Mothra vs. Godzilla still has a pretty good dub, despite the fact I generally opt to watch it in Japanese. And most of the time I watch Monster Zero in english for Nick Adams' performance and lines. I enjoyed him so much in that. Other than that I typically can't stomach sitting through anything dubbed myself...
I'm pretty easy on the dubbed Showa Toho movies. I'll often put the dubbed versions on as background noise. Anything from Biollante onward? No thank you. It's Japanese or nothing.
Well the 90s films had really attrocious dubs. G2k despite its camp had some effort put into the voice acting so it didn't just sound dry or inhuman. It was the GvM92 uk dub that drove me as an 8 year old who had seen every goji film to that point dubbed, to subtitled versions. Granted GvMG 93 was still awaiting a dub so I didn't have much option but when I saw Tristar reuse the British prints, make their own wretched dubs and even take the highlight of Gvdestroyah in the credits sequence out by just ending the film I had no regrets in my decision. Though I still own the dub prints since I'm not fully fluent so its easier to multitask to a dub and my gf who isn't really into kaiju refuses to watch a sub because its tedious. But it's not just nostalgia since I saw DAM's AIP print after becoming a subtitle guy and loved it, similarly I saw SOG's International dub on sony's DVD and hated it ( though I still love the US dub of that I grew up with despite it cutting the opening scene of goji
