I was nine years old when my parents took me to see GINO'98 on the big screen. As a big fan of the Jurassic Park films and dinosaurs in general, I was blown away and I immediately wanted to find out more about Godzilla. There were two websites that were essential in introducing me to the franchise. One was Barry's Temple of Godzilla, and that was when that website was in its heyday. While that main site was devoted to their 1998 film, they had a website detailing the history of the franchise called The Godzilla Database. I learned about all of the kaiju appearing in the Showa and Heisei films thanks to that site. Sadly it's long since been taken down and I can't find any archived pages of it, but the original link was
