Not that this says a great deal, but I found it interesting that Godzilla was the top voted non-superhero movie.

Hm. I'm surprised Transformers is low on the list. Considering how the public eats those up and all.

ALSO, is the Hobbit really below Godzilla? Well its nice to see how the interweb geeks (AKA our group) see this.

I'm not surprised on the popularity of the Marvel films and the anticipation they are gifted with. Though I must say, it's nice to see Interstellar is still in the public eye of interest. We need more original content in Hollywood.. :|

Heh, I'm sure Snakes on a Plane was on top of a few similar polls a few years back, but it is interesting that geek culture is more anticipatory of Godzilla than Hobbit and TMNT... but sad that its below TASM2

Maybe "Toxic Avenger" is a reference to Godzilla being a product of a toxic nuclear accident and that he is avenging the planet against other mutations?? or maybe he is avenging nature for man's destruction??
