I just feel like the sculpt is off for the Gamera 66 figure released this year. The eye area in particular just doesn't seem right. I'm kind of glad I have it, but I honestly feel like the Sega Crane figure of the 65 Gamera was a better figure.

i was never too crazy about the 66 Gamera sculpt, but i regret not picking up the 95 Gamera while the prices were reasonable. I really do like the stance being more upright

Got my Guiron in this morning. To be honest, I prefer the Rocket Pro figure I think. The new X Plus isn't bad, it's just not worth the upgrade. All in all, I've been dissapointed with the Showa Gamera line. Gamera, Guiron and Gyaos....all have had issues, or just been meh. I'm done with that particular line now that I have the big three.

The Gamera 95 figure looks amazing from the pics I've seen. Again though, I have the Rocket Pro version and consider it good enough. Sides, the 96 version of the character is my favorite and I DO own the 30cm X Plus figure of that version (the centerpiece of my collection).

CCP's Showa Gamera figures would be fantastic.

I probably won't upgrade at this point, how many highly detailed versions of the same characters do you need?

But, CCP makes some lesser known figures sometimes. Who knows, maybe they'll make an Advent Gamera from GTB someday?

The sculpt on the G3 looks fantastic, but i'll stick with my Art of War statue for that suit.

I'm so used to seeing the maquette version of G'99 that my first thought is "No, thats Giragoji"... either way, i would jump on an X-Plus Orga or an X-Plus Megaguirus in a heartbeat

Deja vu X-Plus!

Continuing the tradition of reissue out of production figures comes 30cm Hedorah (http://www.ric-toy.ne.jp/item_hedora197 ... ghtup.html ) now with light up eyes (where have i seen that before... )

plus another Ultraman (type A) figure and an Ultraman Ace reissue

but we also get Redman, G'99 and Gamera 3

**EDIT**
Looks like the Ricboy figure for Gamera is battle damaged. (G'99 is probably light up dorsal fins again)

Glad you finally got it man!!! I know you're a big Tyrant fan! It's great that you now own the ultimate Tyrant figure more or less.

Side note. Tyrant and Gigan are the best tag-team ever

Can I ask how you guys snag the Ric-Boy exclusives? I've pre-ordered the standard Miregoji on Hobby Search but the RB with light-up fins is calling my name as well. Do you use a deputy service, friend-in-Japan, wait for ebay, or can you just order it straight off the RB site?

I've done both deputy (goody-japan) and eBay. When I used the deputy service I kept track of eBay. 2 sold cheaper than what I paid while 5 cost more than what I paid. But I guess the benefit of deputy is a guaranteed Ricboy.
KG has used a different deputy service (Shopping mall Japan) so he maybe has some advice.
