I love GTA IV, still do, but looking back on it, the things that made it stand out was how alive Liberty City felt and the brand new shooting mechanics they did.

ACIII has been beaten.

Started GTAV and not sure what to think of it yet. I really don't like Franklin as a character he's to stereotypical which is a bad thing though his partner is worse.

I guess its supposed to be a huge improvement over ACIII; last month at PAX the IGN PS Editor said this game was at the bottom of his radar to being a must play on the PS4 that's how much he enjoyed it.

100% BABY!!!!!!!

WOW! What a freaking game!! This game is truly incredible and there are some after game missions to do, that is awesome. The ending was epic!! My god this game rocked. Truly the best game of 2013. Well worth the wait and the second GTA to have a truly satisfying conclusion.

However, now I need to "OH GODZILLA! WHAT TERRIBLE LANGUAGE!" about something...

I really don't see how the stock market online is going to have anything to do with the stock market in the single player mode.

Nevertheless, it sucks I will not be able to buy every property, but oh well, I got my 100% and to me that is more important than anything else. Tomorrow I'm going to do the missions that came after finishing the game along with looking for some of the mystery things like the UFOs, glyphs and stuff.

Oh yeah, one more thing that strikes me as odd

The special mission finally showed up so at 102:31 I have done every single mission in the game and all of the requirements to getting 100%. Come Nov I will attempt to finish the stunt jumps, under the bridges, and knife flights, along with doing the stunt plane time trials and seeing if I like the online mode.

Last Wednesday's South Park episode was a huge Minecraft parody. I caught most of the jokes, but felt I really needed to check out this Minecraft thing a little closer so I dl'd the 360 version.

That's pretty much why I haven't been on this forum much since and now that South Park episode is hysterical to me!

Well, I made my first attempt at GTA Online. It was kind of cool, but very very VERY confusing. I spent the last 2 hours on it and I am still not sure what I am really doing. I mean, the very first mission I had to do I got killed on and then it said to drop off the drugs and then just as I got into a vehicle to drive off, the mission was over. Then I'm standing there right after the mission and I'm killed by the guy next to me, respawn, and then shot to death by the other guy who was with me on the drug mission. Le's see, I was in a Last Team Standing match and was dead before I even knew what I was doing. It does not help that I don't have any good weapons right now as I'm getting slaughtered from rifles miles before I even get close enough for my shotgun to do anything.

I've at least been able to somewhat make my character look better than appearing like she just woke up from the meth lab. I have no idea what I am doing right now, but at least I have my character started off somewhat. My biggest gripes is having to mute a person every time they come onto the game because I am getting sick of hearing voices just start screaming through my speakers (why can't I just mute everyone at one time????) and it seems like everything is death match or racing.

So I grabbed Batman Arkham City GOTY Edition on Steam at 75% off and started playing it. I loved Arkham Asylum but even though I'm not too far into the game I'm not really liking it as much as I thought I would. It's not a bad game by an stretch, but I honestly think the open world-ness of this game hurts it for me. Asylum was very much a great Metroidvania game and I love those types of games. I also loved the open world game play of Spider-man 2 as well but Arkham City seems off in some intangible way to me. Maybe when I get further in, it'll click.

I love AC, but I think AA is the superior game from a narrative stand point. It just felt like a more solid experience too.
