The Seuss part was the best of the trilogy. Not Halloween-based, but a chance for the animators to play with their style and incorporate that of others (see also their "It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown" parody, though that was more seasonal).

Homer3 is also not very Halloween-y but was a chance to play with the style of animation. There are plenty of Treehouse segments over the years that aren't particularly "Halloween appropriate"
