Looking for rare Toho book

Guys. I'm looking for a rare book called the Toho Encyclopedia. It's a hardcover, 500 plus page book that was released in the mid 1980s. This is a picture of its cover:



It pretty much covers all the Godzilla movies from Godzilla '54 to Godzilla '84 and it's filled with images and stills and such.

I got a chance to take a look at this book back at GFest but I opted not to pick it up because the images inside were so-so (and also tiny) compared to the GOD-TIER companion book that was released around the same time. I DID pick that one up this past July but you'd have to pry it from my cold dead hands. XD

Hmm. I remember seeing this book in a comic book shop back in the mid 80s when I was living in Boston. I was just a teenager at the time, and I really didn't think of buying it back then. Now I wish I had as it has some pretty nice stills from the Godzilla movies. If you don't mind me asking, how much was it on sale for at G-Fest? I would ask if you also would know the dealer who had it and if he sells online also, but I have a feeling that info isn't available. I really wanna find this book. What's the God-Tier book like? I haven't heard of that one.

I'm in the same boat you are Russzilla. I use to see this book all the time on EBAY when I was high school and college. I would appreciate if anyone knows where I can look to purchase it.

I actually got that book as a wedding gift from a friend...very cool...would recommend it...
