Just picked up Zombieland and The Crow Blu Rays at target. They were both dirt cheap. Glad I waited for Zombieland instead of picking it up when I only had a DVD player.

So jealous Steven 8) I'm a bit worried now that my RoU might be lost somewhere, its been almost a month since I ordered it, hopefully I'll have resolution soon one way or the other.
There are no more good TV Shows, only ones that haven't disappointed me yet.

Finally ordered the Gorgo bluray. Bestbuy.com had it on sale for $12 and I had $10 in rewardzone coupons... So after tax it cost me a wopping $2.11! Can't wait to watch it!

Best Buy just released an exclusive version of the Universal Monsters Blu Ray set. I bought it, thinking it was the same set but cheaper - turns out it's minus Phantom of the Opera (meh) and Creature From the Black Lagoon (guess I'll have to get it separately).

Anyway, I put in The Mummy and watched five minutes... and had to turn it off. We're simply too close to Halloween! Nothing says the season like the Universal Monsters, and it just seemed wrong a month early. Like getting your Christmas presents on Thanksgiving.

And I LIKE the musical. It's a well done adaptation of the story for how radical a change adapting something into a musical is...but the 43 film has nothing that makes any version of the story work.

And as much as I LOVE the 25 film, I'd really like to see someone take another crack at making a horror film adaptation of the story

Rains is one of the better aspects of the movie, but, no, he doesn't get to have nearly as much fun with the role as one would hope.
