I'm thinking of repainting G2000's eyes. Not really into the black and white colors anymore. Any of you ever do paint work on your MAs?

Well I don't know how accurate I can get the more intricate details of the eyes, pupils etc. But I was aiming to go for yellow. Godzilla looks good with yellow eyes. Or orange like the FW Godzilla.

Since the space I'll be working with will be small as holy hell, I'll probably need a magnifying glass too.

ouch... Yellow. Easily one of the worst colors to paint. I guess the good news is that the white is already primed?

Either that or orange..or some other color. Ha. I'll cross the road when I get there. We'll reconven on the subject when I get one.

For the record though before I forget. What colors are best to paint in this situation?

Tamiya brand is generally the best for something like that.

And I think something like a clear yellow or clear orange might work better than a solid version of those colors. You will have to disassemble the head and take out the eyes section for the best results. Also I suggest using some kind of modeling clay to mask the rest of the face if you do not want to disassemble the head.

Hey guys. I finally got my SH MonsterArts Destoroyah review article uploaded on Gforever.net. Check it out! It's by far the largest and most detailed photo review I've done yet for the SH MonsterArts toy line. You will be hard pressed to find another review for Destoroyah that's as detailed as mine own.

Enjoy people!

Pre-orders are up on 1999, Amiami and BBTS in regards to Godzilla 2000. Reserving mine later today.

Sometime next year my niece and I are going to be doing a diorama for my SHMA figures I can't wait it should be a fun little project for the both of us. I asked her if she wanted to do an outside setting or a cityscape, looks like we'll be doing a cityscape.

I got inspired by a FB group I belong to for Super Articulated Godzilla figures and one of the members there posted a nice diorama he did outside. I figured I'd include my niece because she's gotten quite creative the past couple of years. I'm going to be doing some heavy research on how to make buidlings and other diorama stuff but I have one cool shot I want to do. It'll probably be something we start on her spring break then finish up over summer break.

I think the intent with the eyes is something I wish we'd seen with Destoroyah and its dead-eye look - one pair of yellow eyes rely solely on clear plastic, while the others are painted (as are the red ones) to allow them to appear brighter and lit without depending on how well Kiryu is lit.
