I really like the character.

Like the Fairbanks film, love the Tyrone Power film, and loved the Disney TV version as a kid.

Can't say I have much enthusiasm for this, though. What's the point of bringing it into the future or present day? It just becomes Batman. The setting of old California is so much of the identity of the thing.


BTW, I really recommend the old Disney Zorro comic tie-in by Alex Toth. It's Zorro by one of the best cartoonists of all time!

The one I grew up watching (and my favorite) was with Alain Delon from 1975, with a theme song either one loves or hates (much like say "Feel in my Heart").
