I've been reading a lot of comics lately.
New 52 Flash back issues 1-21 (Love the art, love the Flash now (apparently))
Ultimate Iron Man I and II - I love when the ultimate universe hits all the buttons that made me like it when I was a teenager.

I seriously didn't realize the Flash was so much more than running fast. I mean, I saw some stuff in Young Justice, but ...this is just cool.

^ That's the best way to read TWD. I have both compendiums and i breezed through each of them in about a week.

The IDW Weekly newsletter finally listed Konga as being released next week!

The treatment for Gorgo was one of the best books i've ever seen, comic or otherwise.

I'd agree that it's probably the best way to read it as I feel like the individual issues would probably seem kinda boring...I get through each "chapter" in about an hour...which I'm given to understand is like 6 issues of the comic.

I feel like it must feel like nothing ever happens when you're reading individual issues as opposed to the collected volumes.

I really dig the new look for Lobo. I like it wayyy more than the regular design.

I'm happy to report that "Konga" is probably better than "Gorgo" (which I loved). Great treatments

Fantagraphics, in a never ending quest to get all of my money, is now giving the hardcover treatment to the complete Uncle Scrooge/Donald Duck stories of Don Rosa starting next summer. Fanta is already reprinting Carl Bark's original Scrooge and Donald stories, as well as Floyd Gottfredson's Mickey Mouse newspaper strip.

These comics kick ass.

Been catching up on the Ultimate Marvel Universe. I've just finished Ultimatum. Wow. So, that was basically End of Evangelion for the Ultimate Marvel Universe. Kind of brutal. Although if everybody stays dead, or more or less stays dead, then that's at least more meaningful than some of the comic deaths in the 616. Maybe.

Got a bunch of comics.
I started Indestructible Hulk at issue 11. Hulk timetraveling with a machine that holds Bruce Banner's intelligence while fighting dinosaurs alongside cowboys? YES PLZ.
I love this series. So absurd.

The Star Wars Issue #1, based on George Lucas's original draft for Star Wars. It's weird, and features a ton of politics and stuff that reminds me more of the prequels than the OT. It's still kind of interesting to see an alternate take on Star Wars, though. One thing I DO like is that the Emperor seems to make the idea of the Jedi uprising a constant presence in the life of the empire. The idea that they're still out there plotting and I think I can understand how a guy could stay in control for 18 years this way instead of how it is in the films wherein it appears ALL of the Jedi minus like 2 people are killed.

Infinity #2. I need to catch up on some of the tie-ins. Though it got really interesting towards the end.

Flash 23.1, Blech. I don't know what it's doing. Flash is dead? I guess this is happening in that Trinity War thing, but it's weird to place this issue as 23.1 because it interrupts a great story in progress with something dumb.
