Maybe they are using their SHMA figure (which I LOVE btw) as the basis?

I think too many people, myself included, think of Spacegodzilla as a better monster than he actually was. I blame the lore I heard as a kid and then the glorious Trendmasters toys, but every time I see a "good" likeness of SpaceG, I always think, "Why the F is he so fat?"

I think I like the figure overall, but it does sort of look like he has a pouch...

I think the sculpt is really great on this release and the web exclusives are neat.

Looks like in addition to Space Godzilla, October will bring us a fantastic looking Daimajin, Some Ultraman iteration (excuse my ignorance) and a reissue of the 30cm 62 Kingoji with the same light up gimmick as the recently reissued 30cm Mosugoji... I guess its good for people that got into the line later, but the collector in me cringes whenever they do a reissue.

SciFi Japan has posted product specs and high-res photos of the Toho, Kadokawa/Daiei and Tsuburaya Pro giant monster figures scheduled for release in late October 2013 from X-Plus. The lineup includes Daimajin, Ultraman Gaia, Spacegodzilla and Godzilla 1962.

I think that new Daimajin pose is garbage. Looks like he's tipsy, or attempting to fly....
