just got back from Pacific Rim.

Holy F***, this movie kicked ass. Loved the characters, loved the effects, loved the story, and I loved the fights. Easily one of my top favorite movies now.

Anyone who says the characters were lacking or that it was cliche or that it's an Evangelion ripoff, F*** you, you have no taste.

Holy crap.... it kicked some major booty in China. Depending on how well it does its second weekend there, it could hit 400m worldwide. If it does that, LP just might think about some kind of adapation of a second movie.

If a second movie was made, they might want to think about having another fight scene take place in China.... lol

Yeah, when I told my friends I just saw Pacific Rim, they usually replied with "What's that?"

Tokyo, a smoldering memorial to the unknown, an unknown which at this very moment still prevails and could at any time lash out with its terrible destruction anywhere else in the world.
