I dunno, it sounds like they have it nailed. I always liked Edwards since he was doing press for Monsters and giving props to Godzilla and Harryhausen movies, but I feel like every new interview I see with him, I just like him more.

Call me dumb or blindly optimistic or whatever you want... but I sincerely believe that he gets it and that he'll deliver. I'm already really put off by a lot of the knee jerk negativity with the fan reaction to ANYTHING that comes out for this movie, but I assure you, it has nothing to do with me making excuses for Edwards or this film... If I thought they were missing any beats, I'd say so...

But I sincerely feel like this is a movie being made by a group of level headed people who know what Godzilla should be.
