The transition is actually quite hilarious to me. I remember a time on these boards, a little more than ten years ago, where the Heisei movies were fondly spoken of. Lots of praise for the first three movies and MechaGodzilla 2 everywhere.

Now it's just "blah, blah poorly written", "blah, blah, blah Kawakita sucks", "blah, blah, lets ignore the 1970s".

God, I miss Zigra. Whatever happened to that guy.

Woah, ignore the 70s? Who says that? The 70s films rock the socks off the 90s films all day long.

Again, I'm FAR too lazy to go back to whenever I first started posting regularly, but I've never liked the 90s films, and yes, Godzilla vs. King Ghidorah is INSANELY lazily written, particularly with the Emmy character.
