Tokyo, a smoldering memorial to the unknown, an unknown which at this very moment still prevails and could at any time lash out with its terrible destruction anywhere else in the world.

I dont even want to go into what out local radio station said (or rather didn't say) about Pacific Rim. Since my monday morning drive was spent listening to 20 minutes of how bad Grown-ups 2 was. The bad part is the local show is basically, stuck-up guy, dumb-fat-redneck & token girl. since dumb-fat-redneck only sees one movie per week he picked grown-ups 2. His only comment about Pacific Rim was "some dumb movie with giant turtles" so you know his opinion has no validity. The only good was one of the producers (who is a self-professed geek and the shows 5th man who gets very little air time) had about 10 seconds to praise the film, which he certainly did before the jocks shewed him back into his hole. :-\
There are no more good TV Shows, only ones that haven't disappointed me yet.

I think I like the unused credit sequence more.

And that featurette is neat :D

I'm going to try and see this again tomorrow afternoon.

Looking at the alternate closing credits just reminds me how much I wish the movie - or, heck, jsut about any movies these days - had a proper opening credits sequence.
