I might not be posting here much this week because I'm trying to avoid reviews until I see the film but since I work at a theater I figured I'd give everyone a heads up.

We just got an e-mail from WB stating that all theaters doing 10pm shows for PACIFIC RIM are to add a 7pm show as well.

I can't speak for all theater chains but I know for Carolina Cinemas (mine) and AMC that if you bought advance tickets for the 10pm show they should be transferable to the 7pm if you are interested but if so you might want to have the transfer done ASAP just to avoid any hassle.

Tokyo, a smoldering memorial to the unknown, an unknown which at this very moment still prevails and could at any time lash out with its terrible destruction anywhere else in the world.

I have an bachelor's degree in English but I'm not a member of the grammar police on-line. In fact, usually, I feel that anyone who does so is trying to be an intellectually superior ass.

I mean, that's like going into a friendly conversation already with the mindset to tear your friends down so that you what? Feel better about yourself? Educated the unwashed masses?

I know that speaking for myself, I never but too much thought or effort into my posts on this forum. Sure, I could edit my posts a bunch for grammatical content, maybe fine-tune my thinking a bit, but that sort of betrays what forums are for, namely, casual, friendly discussion and the sharing of opinions. I don't need to write a thesis on here as to why I think Final Wars sucks. I can mention a few of the highlights, but I really don't feel the need to talk about on any sort of deep, meaningful level. That's just me, and I know a lot of you like trying to win people over to your side and things like that and spew cinematic theory and stuff and that's fine, but don't do it and expect everyone else to want to play the same game.

Some of the smartest people I know type like dumb f*cks online and you know why? It's because they have nothing to prove, they have actual jobs, degrees and what not. This stuff online, it's just supposed to be fun.

Short versions=grammar nazis annoy me.
