Would filming in a warehouse mean practical effects? It doesn't have to mean it, but does anyone know what kind of CGI effects could be filmed in a warehouse like that?

Ok, going on the assumption that this is a pseudo-reveal and that is the eye of Godzilla, all the texture and jaggedness makes me believe that the bust we originally saw way back when

was perhaps an early Godzilla prototype.

I mean if we look at the skewed image we've dissected over the last year, that Godzilla head did not look drastically different than the bust did in profile. The only thing really different from the bust and the "profile shot" is that appears they raised the brow a bit more than the bust.

They it appears that the jaws are a bit thicker but the thickness of the neck in proportion to the head is similar, and if we can assume that the warehouse pic shows some of Godzilla's head, the jagged dorsals starting from the crown of the head are again similar to the bust.

Just my observation, I'm going to try and find this warehouse tomorrow morning and will see what I can see.

Also, I find out this week if I get press credentials for the whole event, so fingers crossed, I will take what pictures I can and then, since i have a memory for detail and a decent drawing hand, will render what I see the best I can. Let's hope I get in!!

But didn't it come out that that bust was made by a Japanese sculptor fan several YEARS ago, before LP even got Godzilla?

Also, I'm STILL not seeing this eye... you can circle that portion of the building and point to it all you want but I don't see it... to me, it just looks like a building that Godzilla might have hit with his tail.

I look at that image and all I see is a building with a big chunk of it take out, with flames and rubble on the inside. We see Godzilla stuff with those things ALL THE TIME.

For example, check out the building in this playset to the left of the Chrysler building:

THAT'S what I'm seeing here.

I'm not saying it IS an eye...but I kind of feel bad for the imagination (or lack thereof) of someone who doesn't see it...whatever it may or may not be (and I personally think its justbbuilding damage) I can see that line of thought that it's an eye

I see how it could be an eye. But I'm fairly positive it's not. Just looks like a bunch of highly detailed, glowing cracks and rocks to me.
