I'm pretty well apathetic to Emmerich's shenanigans these days. But yeah, the fact that he's still making terrible movies basically goes without saying, doesn't it?

You know, I've been strangely tempted to go and watch GINO for the past day or two. It used to be on TV fairly often a year or two ago, but I think the last time I tried renting it from Blockbuster, I gave up well before it was done. It's strange, though: I actually really liked it when I was a dumb kid and saw it in the theatre. I guess anything called Godzilla was enough to blow me away as a kid. The monster itself does make for a pretty sweet action figure, though. It has a cool design. I don't mind seeing it crop up again in Final Wars, Rulers of Earth, or whatever else.
