Well, I just got back from this. I liked it, but there's a lot that doesn't sit perfectly well with me.

I can't really tell whether I like this or Superman Returns more. My gut goes with Man of Steel, but I'll know for certain when I see this again on home video.

The action DOES get exhausting. I also feel that while the story is fairly interesting, the cast doesn't get a chance to do much. I came away from Begins enthralled with Bale, Oldman, Caine, and the rest. Here I feel like I kind of like Cavill and Adams...but...I felt like I only got a hint of what they could bring to these roles.

Also: I reaaalllyy love the Kryptonian spacesuits.

My sister went to a special screening yesterday. She said the movie was humorless and wearying and the only good part was Clark's dog (which I thought was interesting).

I don't think it's humorless. There's a few jokes, but not as many as say...the original films. Which are feature length jokes.
