So I'm moving this weekend and going through old G-Fans, I run across #13... where a 9 year old of myself asked this:

Made me think of just how much work we had to do to find out simple facts back then... You couldn't just whip out your phone and have the information in a matter of seconds. In a weird way, I miss it.

I kind of miss that as well. I miss having to read books to find things out, and when discovering a new film in a franchise was a remarkable discovery.

I found out about them when I got this purple Godzilla book (the name escapes me).
I just remember it used all of the advance artwork posters (which kind of got me hyped) and called
Godzilla vs. Mothra Godzilla vs. Queen Mothra
Though that's just the 90s films. Godzilla vs. Biollante and Godzilla 1984 were some of the first movies I got on VHS.

That is cool. and makes me want to dig through my G-Fans and find which issues I had letters in, and articles I actually contributed. They are probably riddled with inaccuracies though LOL!

I admit if it had not been for some Sci-Fi Books I had, some of those characters in the first Godzilla NES game would have thrown me for a loop a well. That game is still the the best Godzilla game to date IMHO. 8-)

Image I got this book when it was brand new in 1990 and read it cover-to-cover in the summer of 1990 when I was 14

For years and years and YEARS I thought a lot of the monsters in that game were original creations.
