I really hope not...

I've doubt they've hired a composer at this point. But because it's Legendary I'm banking on someone from Remote Control Productions. Looking at their past blockbuster action movies I'm seeing a lot of Hans Zimmer, Ramin Dajwadi, Marco Beltrimi, James Newton Howard, Tyler Bates and John Ottman. I'm not saying it's guaranteed to be one of these guys, but if we look into the material they've done over the last eight years it should give us a pretty good idea of where this is heading musically.

I'm not an AICN reader, but did a quick Google search and found this. Not sure how valid this may be since it is from 2010, but hopefully his opinions have changed since then.

Not to sound like a broken record about Djawadi, but after listening to the recently released Game of Thrones Season 3 soundtrack, I'd be okay with that decision. I feel like we should all look forward to his work in Pacific Rim, for better or for worse. He's come a long way since Iron Man.
