Tokyo, a smoldering memorial to the unknown, an unknown which at this very moment still prevails and could at any time lash out with its terrible destruction anywhere else in the world.

The first two episodes of this (half) season didn't impress me, but I really enjoyed Cold War and Hide.

... and the rest of the episodes sound pretty darn interesting!

The series 7 finale, "The Name of the Doctor" airs this coming Saturday, May 18. The North American DVD/blu-ray release of series 7 part 2 is scheduled to be released on May 28. Now thousands of people who ordered from BBC America's online shop have received their discs early due to an error.

All right, last night's episode is by far the best episode of all the entire season. It was funny, it had good dialog, good acting, it had energy (which a lot of this season has lacked), and most of all, it had the Cybermen. My only complaint is how annoying the bratty girl was, as there seemed to be no reason for it.

I cannot wait for next week's finale.

So when is the 50th special supposed to air?

I just watched Hide last night finally. Going to watch the other three episodes over the next couple of days.

Kain I believe the 50th airs this Fall. It's going to have a limited theatrical run then air. The theater version will be in 3D. :D

I'm sure it'll play in a few theaters in the states but like I said it's a very limited thing.

I can't wait for the 50th now. This was excellent foreshadowing.
