Just because he hasn't done anything "cool" or "noteworthy" in the comics doesn't mean he's a B or lower grade villian. Sure he hasn't done anything as memorable as Doc Ock, Green Goblin, etc. etc. but he's still considered part of Spidey's rogue gallery.

I'd say being doing cool/noteworthy stuff is what makes a good villain.

Man Bat is part of Batman's rogues gallery. Doesn't make him any less lame or any more memorable.

Wow, I'm definitely not digging the new Mary Jane Watson :th-dn: Wasn't Mary Jane supposed to be like a model in the comics? I definitely wasn't the biggest Dunst fan, but my God can't they find a Lucy Collet type or someone along those lines for Mary Jane? Or someone at least better than Shailene Woodley?

In contrast, I'm loving the casting of Paul Giamatti as Rhino...he's a very talented actor and I think he'll add some needed dimension to the character...
